I n H i s E y e s

She was to him
Nothing less than heavenly
Sent to earth
Made for him only
With just one smile,
One glance,
One touch,
His stress and worries
Were than irrelevant,
Non-existent
Even her name
Meant God’s gift
Though not a real angel
She hadn’t any wings
Nor a halo above her head
She had many faults
Imperfections and insecurities
But in his eyes,
She was perfect
And only his opinion mattered
